86% A Must-do for NYC visitors who love movies and TV!
By: Anonymous | Tue Jan 18, 2011 at 11.17 PM
My 25 year old daughter and I came to NYC in the dead of winter to celebrate her grad school completion and impending wedding. We live in Chicago which is also a frequent movie and TV location spot, but it pales by comparison! Our guide, Br..ian, was such fun and so friendly and helpful, full of information and enthusiasm. We loved every minute of our tour and the video clips really helped bring the locations to "life!" Thank you for a wonderful afternoon and a warm bus!Read full review
Our guide Jenny was hilarious, and very knowledgeable about both Gossip Girl and NYC. It is also an amazing way to see both the fun sites from a show you love AND parts of the city you may never have thought about visiting or even heard of... I would recommend this tour to any Gossip Girl fan or a similar tour for a lover of TV or Movies filmed in NY. xoxo...SSRead full review
86% A Pleasant Way to Spend an Afternoon in New York
By: Anonymous | Tue Jan 18, 2011 at 10.58 PM
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and walked at a good pace for our group which included a variety of age groups. It was a very pleasant way to spend an afternoon in New York.
Solvang, Hearst Castle, Yosemite was very nice. You guys should go there! Tour guide Zac was great. I think the San Fransisco tour should not be charged an extra cost, but should be included since SF is very small.

We had a fantastic time with this tour. The drives were long but the guide and the driver are excellent. Our guide Mr. David was very knowledgeable and took lots of good pictures for all four of us. I was so thrill to see the Saguaro cactus.. at Saguaro NP. We loved White Sand National Monument. Carlsbad cavern was great too. Our favorites are Monument Valley and Horseshoe bend. It is a very well thought out tour. Less people than other popular national parks but very interesting. You will have a chance of less people in your pictures. Highly recommended!!Read full review
I want to share with you all that this by far is a great deal for the family or any single person. I went with a friend and we had a good time. The tour guide Kevin from bus #777 11/21/10 He was cool and the tour was bilingual in Chinese an..d English. Kevin is a very good tour guide.
The bus was clean and on time. Our food stop were buffets for a cheap price of $10.00 all you can eat and drink though it was Asian food they had, Thai food, Chinese it was good.
After we arrive at our hotel in Las Vegas the rooms were nice and clean as well, we had the rest of the day to enjoy Las Vegas Strip or if you wanted to go on their special tour or entertainment it would be $25 each one It is OPTIONAL. I choose to enjoy the strip.
Then we had a wake up call and we had the OPTION to go the west part of the Grand Canyon $69 for the entrance and a free meal. The Skywalk was $32 but you could not take picture inside the skylwalk bridge, there were staff who took picture of you BUT you had to pay another $30 for that picture OR go to the North Canyon were it was free but a longer drive to get there OR you can stay at the Hotel and enjoy the strip.
I chose to go to the west point and paid the $69 and got to enjoy 2 more other places to take good pictures for 4hrs. We then headed to Hoover Dam for 30min and left back to our hotel and we had the rest of the night. I wanted to visit the center of Hoover Dam but
we only saw it from the distance.
We got another wake up call and headed to Ethel's Chocolate factory in the morning for 45min only, it was really small and they gave us 4 pieces of free chocolate samples, though you were only allowed to get one. We saw the cactus garden it was okay since it was also small.
Then we went got to the OUTLETS and that was fun!! We were given a VIP sticker that will give us a 10% off any iteam besides from the big sales they had!!!! Trust me take extra money they have good deals!!!!
Over all I loved my trip it was very comfortable and Its a great deal!!!!
The Hotel was near everything you could think of even a CVS that was open 24hrs. I recommend this trip Five Stars!!! We got home safe and sound. Oops I almost forgot that you should pack really light and take your camara and charger. YOU wont regret it!!!!Read full review

Kevin the tour guide and F1 bus driver were just great. The tour is just an overview of the places but it featured the high points of each sight as seen on postcards and travel books. The trip was hassle free except for the early morning wa..ke up calls to maximize the time and our money's worth, off course. The hotel accommodations at Marriot were generous. Restroom breaks during the road trip were ample. A great buy!Read full review
MR.SAM GUAN IS TOUR GUIDE FOR OUR LAS VEGAS TOUR.HE HELP US A LOT FOR TRIP 23-26 OCT10.WE WENT TO LAX WITH OUT CONFIRM BOOKING FOR LAS VEGAS TOUR.HE CAN MANAGE AND HELP US TO GET A HAPPY TRIP.THANK YOU FOR YOUR SMART TRIP MR.SAM GUAN
Our Tour Guide and Driver were EXCELLENT. However, i do have a few comments about the tour itself. I should be more clear about what tours are "optional" and which are not. Having to be told that additional fees are required once to tour.. begins is annoying to say the least. The reason for the "Fair" rating on the hotels is that the last 2 hotels on our tour were unclean to say the least. There were stains on EVERY surface along with bugs and smells.Read full review
We have booked this tour as part of our 10 day trip to NYC and were satisfied with it.
On the first day of the tour it was a bit difficult finding the correct bus in Chinatown as there are countless tours with this and other companies.
..Behind a desk two Chinese people were advising the bus numbers for the respective tours but we were sent tot he wrong busses twice. When we finally got to our bus our tour guide Wendy greeted us with a loud "NO!" as the bus was almost full - except for the two of us. Everything was sorted quickly though and we got on the bus to commence our travels with 43 Chinese people and 9 none-Chinese people. We saw another bus with Indian people so I think they're trying to group you by ethnicity - maybe so you don't feel like a stranger?
The Chinese unfortunately kept to themselves so we only really had contact with the other 7 passengers. We ended up becoming very good friends with one of the couples and has made the trip be forever more memorable in my mind.
There is a lot of driving and you only have little time to enjoy at the attractions. I was trying to meet up with a friend from Toronto and ended up seeing her for about 10 minutes. But all in all the tour is great. If you do all the attractions it's quite pricey but we simply informed ourselves before the trip and did
- The Thousand Island Tour
- CN tower
- Skylon tower w/o lunch (I wouldn't recommend this attraction)
- Maid of the Mist
- Cave of the winds (definitely do this if you can! You're walking where the American Bridal Veil Falls come down into Niagara River. On the Hurricane Deck you're being showered by the Falls as the powerful Bridal Veil speeds down into the river )
only. That way we had a little bit more time while people were doing e.g. The Corning Glass Museum, the Niagara Imax etc.
The admissions purchased from Wendy weren't noticeably more expensive than the ones on-site. You were always in the Fast-Track and somebody else (your tour guide) is doing all the organising/queuing for you so I didn't mind those 2-5$ more.
This tour incluides a lot of driving, getting up early and very tight time lines - but you get a lot in return. Canada is simply beautiful and the Niagara Falls are worth visiting once in your life.
The hotels we stayed at were the Holiday Inn and Travelodge, the standards were very good but the hotels were far away from the city so you weren't able to go explore on your own at night. This is probably better as this tour is not for part animals due to getting up early and lots of travelling.
I don't know about the lunch/dinner organized by our tour guide as we never went on those. Due to the nature of the group they often went to Chinese buffets - but we wanted to explore the local cuisine and went wandering off on our own. I can recommend traditional Chinese buns in Toronto.
Our tour guide Wendy was charming, entertaining and absolutely wonderful! Everybody loved her - aside from two Russian passengers that were being incredibly rude and refused to pay the service fee. Aside from that the trip was really wonderful and Wendy (although I'm sure that wasn't her real name, just simplified from Chinese for stupid tourists) and our driver Jorge were just perfect! Jorge ("George" for stupid tourists) drove us safely over 1000 miles to all our locations and listened to a lot of Chinese chatting with an angel-like patience.
I'll definitiely check out tours4fun again when i go back to the States.Read full review
